Anniversary gift

For our 20th anniversary, Rich and I decided to get new wedding rings.  Mine were looking outdated, and my anniversary band was missing a small diamond.  I wanted to use the current diamonds but get them reset in white gold settings.  Originally I wanted them all in one band, but I ended up getting another anniversary band and just resetting my solitaire.  Rich got a new white gold band too.  They're really pretty!  I'm almost afraid to wear them, I don't want to get them dirty!

Lost tooth #2

Grace *finally* lost her second tooth, the other bottom middle one.  She lost the tooth at some point between climbing up the bed and putting it under her pillow, so she had to write the tooth fairy a note explaining the situation.  With the money she got from the tooth fairy, she got these, which she's been DYING for by the way!  Little Girl press on nails...we'll see how long they actually stay on her fingers before they fall off :).

Ben goes to camp

Ben went to church camp this week over in Medora.  He was kind of nervous and quiet on the ride over and very quiet when we got there.  I know he was scared and a little worried about the other kids.  After we got him registered, we took a little tour of the chapel & the canteen, then took his stuff over to his 'cabin'.  It was more of a white canvas square tent with a few air flaps and a few bunkbeds inside.  There are only 4 other boys in his cabin, along with their counselor, which will be nice.  The picture I took of him on his bunk makes me want to cry every time I look at it...he looks so scared and sad!  He really did well with us leaving though, he was fairly embarrassed hugging us goodbye LOL.  They've been having some bad storms over there, I'm hoping they all stay safe.  I'll be counting the days until Friday...as much as Ben drives me bonkers sometimes I miss him!

A beautiful Daglum evening

Grace and I took a ride Saturday evening over at my Dad's house and saw lots of wildlife!  It was a really nice evening...nothing beats a cool, sunny evening watching the buttes.  We took the dogs over with us, they had a great time running through the wheat and the trees!

Pretty Lilies

My mom and Don have some beautiful flowers this year!  They have a berm in their backyard that has lots of perennials planted in it, including the pretty lily plant I got from Grace's kindergarten class for volunteering.  The lilies are so beautiful this year!

Mama duck

There is a mama duck that made a nest under one of the bushes in front of Grandma's house.  The bush is directly to the left of the front door, so I'm sure it gets a bit hectic with the kids going in and out of the house, but it really doesn't seem to bother her!  She leaves every once in awhile and we found that there are 4 eggs in there.  I guess she has a broken foot too :(, but still flies ok.  Can't wait until they hatch!
