We love our cousins!

The first leg of our spring break took us to Moorhead, MN to Joel & Heidi's house. We got there last night (Friday night) then took Eli with us over to my Dad's in SW North Dakota. We got to play with Noah a little this morning too...he wasn't very happy that we left him, but after he realized Eli was leaving and he could go play in his room with his stuff he was happy :). Here he is when he first found out he wasn't going with us:

Red Hawks pizza party

Little Brown and Little Meador, our Red Hawks JV squad :)

Coach Dan and Coach Devin

The Grace's

The crazy boys

Our end of the season Red Hawks pizza party was tonight at Benchwarmers. The boys got certificates & trophies, and gave the coaches some gifts. It's always sad when basketball season comes to an end! Our coaches put in so much time and effort for a mostly thankless job, we appreciate them so much! Thanks Coach Dan, Coach Devin and Coach Ed! And we miss our Coach Joel!

Iowa vs. Penn St.

Rich took Tyler and Matt to meet his Dad in Iowa City and go to the Iowa-Penn St. basketball game. They didn't bring the camera, which was too bad because they had awesome seats! Two rows up behind the scorer's table/Iowa bench. So how do we prove they were there? Voila...the magic of HDTV :)!

The bird plates

My plate racks finally came, and while they are probably too small, I like them! The wall looks a little busy too with all of the plates in one general place....I think they would have been better spread out across the top like a border. Oh well, too late now! I do love them..they are so pretty up close! Oh, and did I mention it was 73 here today? (HA...I'm throwing that in for my Dad and Joel, and I'm sure they're getting sick of me :) )

According to the National Weather Service...

It's 73 degrees right now!

Beautiful day!

I have spring fever! It was in the lower 50's today, and supposed to be 60 tomorrow! Woohoo! Maybe I can open the windows and de-germ my house. Grace and Matt stayed home from school today, but both are better. They should be ok for school tomorrow...it's amazing how quickly kids bounce back. While I was thinking of how happy I was that everyone was on the mend, the school nurse calls me to say that Tyler is in her office with a 101.3 degree temp. :( Hopefully his will be a quick flu bug too. I let Grace and Matt go outside for a while this afternoon, I think a little fresh air did them good. Our backyard looks like a Webkinz graveyard...Lucy has been dragging them out all winter and when the snow melted I counted 12 Webkinz lying about! Crazy dog.
